Approach – How we do it
All our courses are highly interactive and coached by experienced business people who walk the talk. We encourage behavioral change by stretching participants in an environment that is safe and even fun!
D³ Discover – Design – Deliver
Discover
Understanding your objectives and desired outcomes is critical for successful results. Our first step is to understand how we can provide the right solution to meet your objectives. This typically involves one or more face to face or telephone meeting(s). Where personal coaching is involved this may also include reviewing any available materials such as videos of the subject.
Design
When necessary we tailor the course to meet your desired objectives and outcomes. Even if a fully tailored solution is not needed, we customize the delivery of our core courses to meet your organization’s culture and objectives. Solutions include one on one coaching, small group programs, and large workshop sessions.
Deliver
All our work with clients is highly interactive with multiple practice sessions with clear measurable skills objectives. We achieve the desired outcomes through a process of short briefings, followed by individual or group exercises, some videotaped (with private video review), individual “in the moment” coaching and peer feedback.
We create a challenging, yet safe, environment where participants are stretched. Participants leave Communication Edge courses ready and able to apply the newly acquired skills immediately back in the workplace. To maintain the skill development we provide skill retention and on the job skill development tools.
However, this is not the end. We then circle back to the Discover stage to review all feedback of the course and initiate any fine tuning that is required for future work.
Logistics
We also like to make the whole experience straightforward from a logistical point of view. We supply the materials, camera, individual DVDs, and replay facilities. All we need is a room and a projector/laptop.
