Steve Tombs
Steve brings over 30 years experience working in sales, and communication skills coaching, working in Europe, U.S.A and United Arab Emirates. Steve’s passion is empowering people to communicate confidently and persuasively. This includes one-on-one coaching, such as preparing executives for major presentations, to working with small and large groups, enabling them to communicate their ideas and messages with impact.

Steve draws on his past business background to bring a practical real world application to his consulting and coaching approach.

Born in London, Steve enjoyed a successful sales career resulting in a senior sales management role with Equifax Europe.

In 1996 Steve changed career direction and joined Communispond, a leading international communication skills consulting company headquartered in New York. This was a move that was to change his life in many ways.

Based in London, Steve coached communication and sales skills to people from all over the world. In 1999, Steve moved to the organization’s Chicago office. However, Steve’s entrepreneurial spirit was not to be denied and in 2002 he co-founded Communication Edge, Inc. with his wife, Dale (the reason he moved to Chicago!).

Steve’s interests include rugby (particularly watching England), Formula 1 racing, and cooking. He also enjoys walking and biking with Dale along the Fox Valley trails near his home west of Chicago. (About us)
